Chief's Welcome

Welcome to the Chelan County Fire District #1 website. The members of Chelan County Fire District #1, past and present, have a long tradition of providing compassionate and efficient service to our neighbors. We are an all risk department providing emergency response to fire, emergency medical, hazardous material, and a variety of other types of incidents. We provide these services with a crew of career and volunteer staff responding from five stations located throughout the District.

Our District covers approximately 65 square miles surrounding the city of Wenatchee to the north, west and south. We also respond to much of the unincorporated land surrounding our district through interagency agreements and mutual aid agreements with the United States Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Washington State Department of Natural Resources, and neighboring Fire Districts.
